Busy Days in November for Shared Journeys

Busy Days in November
Posted on 10/29/2013
The month of November is almost here!  The beginning of the school year has been a total success and we are heading into some very exciting learning opportunities. The students will kick the month of November off with a field trip to compare three different day cares.  Students will observe and interact in three very different day care situations to have the ability to determine what they like and do not like and what fits their personal needs best. We will have a college visit to Herzing University and the University of Parkside, both which are located in Kenosha.  In addition, we will visit the farmer's market for fall produce, have visits from the Health Department, volunteer at Mitchell Manor Nursing Home, be involved in a FAFSA learning opportunity and bring our families to our monthly Family Night at Morgan Grove Family Center.

With Thanksgiving right around the corner, it is a time to think about what we are thankful for.  At Shared Journeys we are thankful for the the community support, mentors, our wonderful families, students, school partners and school district.  We hope you can  take some time to sit down and think about what you are thankful for.  Have a wonderful November!
